COOKING & PREPARATION:
Pan-Frying Method (Recommended):
Preheat a Skillet: Place a non-stick or regular skillet over medium heat. Let it warm up for a couple of minutes.
Add Turkey Bacon: Place the frozen turkey strips directly into the skillet. You don’t need to thaw them beforehand. Arrange them in a single layer, but don’t overcrowd the pan.
Cook: Cook the strips for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they become crispy and browned to your liking. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly depending on the thickness of the strips and your stove’s heat level.
Drain: Once cooked, place the bacon on a paper towel to absorb any excess grease.
Serve: Enjoy your turkey bacon on its own, or as part of a dish like a breakfast platter, salad, or sandwich.
Air Fryer Method (Convenient):
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This step ensures even cooking.
Arrange the Turkey Strips: Place the frozen turkey bacon strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure the strips cook evenly and crisp up nicely. If you have to, cook them in batches.
Air Fry: Cook the bacon for about 8-10 minutes, flipping the strips halfway through the cooking time. Check for desired crispness. If you like it extra crispy, you can add an extra minute or two.
