COOKING & PREPARATION:

1. Thaw the beef: If the Meltique striploin is frozen, it’s recommended to thaw it in the refrigerator overnight. This allows for even cooking and helps retain the quality of the meat. Place the frozen striploin in a sealed bag or container to thaw.

2. Preheat your grill or skillet: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or a skillet on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Ensure that the cooking surface is hot before adding the beef.

3. Season the striploin: Season the thawed Meltique striploin with your preferred seasonings. Salt, pepper, and any other desired spices or herbs work well. Let the beef sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.

4. Cook the striploin: For a grill, place the striploin directly on the hot grates and cook for about 90 seconds per side, or until the desired level of doneness is reached. For a skillet, add a small amount of oil to the preheated skillet and cook the striploin for about 90 seconds per side, adjusting the cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.

5. Rest the beef: Once the striploin reaches your desired level of doneness, remove it from the heat source and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat and helps ensure a juicy result.

6. Slice and serve: After the resting period, slice the Meltique striploin against the grain into thin slices. This helps maximize tenderness. Serve the cooked beef as desired, alongside your favorite sides or in a steak sandwich.

NOTE: Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the striploin and your preferred level of doneness. Using a meat thermometer is also recommended to ensure the beef reaches the desired internal temperature (145°F for medium-rare, 160°F for medium).
